Seasonal Balloon Masterclass | Volkel, Netherlands

Create spectacular seasonal balloon scenes with internationally renowned master balloon artist Alberto Falcone at this special hands-on masterclass in Volkel, Netherlands, as part of the Sempertex Europe 15 Year Celebration Tour.

Taking place on Sunday 20th September 2026, this festive anniversary workshop goes beyond creating individual balloon figures. Instead, you’ll learn how multiple balloon elements, structures and decorative details can be brought together to create complete professional seasonal scenes suitable for photo settings, shopping centres, parties, events and commercial installations.

Throughout the masterclass, Alberto will take you through three major autumn and winter themes — Halloween, Autumn and Winter/Christmas — combining live demonstrations, collaborative group builds and individual hands-on work.

You’ll work together to construct the foundations and larger structures within each scene, including atmospheric walls, backdrops and a cosy winter fireplace. You’ll then work individually and in smaller groups to create the detailed balloon elements that bring each installation to life.

For Halloween, you’ll explore characterful elements including voodoo dolls, black cats, ghosts, pumpkins and atmospheric lanterns. The Autumn scene introduces a rustic stone wall perfect for a photo setting, alongside scarecrows, winding leafy vines and pumpkin arrangements. For Winter, you’ll help create a cosy fireplace scene complete with simulated fire, an animal head wall feature, Christmas stars and classic wall lamps.

At the end of the day, the individual elements and larger structures will be brought together to create complete, professional seasonal photo scenes, giving you the opportunity to capture beautiful images for your own portfolio and social media.

With limited places to allow participants sufficient personal guidance, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from Alberto Falcone while celebrating 15 years of Sempertex Europe.
