DESCRIPTION:Be part of a spectacular community build that celebrates creativity\, inclusivity and the power of balloons to bring people together. \nHosted by internationally recognised Master Balloon Professionals Denise Van Dooren and Audrey Parsons\, Pride Build 2026 is a unique opportunity to collaborate with balloon artists from across Europe while creating large-scale wearable balloon art for one of Belgium’s biggest Pride celebrations. \nFollowing the success of last year’s parade participation\, Denise and Audrey are returning with an even bigger vision. This year\, DnA Events is leading a full-scale creative production\, transforming the streets of Hasselt into a moving showcase of colour\, artistry and self-expression. \nBest of all\, this is a completely free community project. Whether you’re an experienced balloon professional or attending your very first large-scale build\, you’ll be welcomed as part of the team. \nThe Creative Vision: \nThis year’s project focuses on wearable balloon art and living sculptures. Participants will work together to create extraordinary balloon headpieces\, structural skirts\, statement costumes and interactive sculptures designed to move through the parade and captivate thousands of spectators. \nMore than décor\, you’ll be helping to create living art in motion. \nWhy you should attend: \n• Work alongside Master Balloon Professionals Denise Van Dooren and Audrey Parsons\n• Gain hands-on experience on a large-scale public event build\n• Create wearable balloon art and parade-ready installations\n• Capture unique portfolio content and social media material\n• Network with balloon artists from across Europe and beyond\n• Experience the excitement of participating in a major Pride parade\n• Contribute to a creative project that celebrates diversity\, community and inclusion \nWhat’s included: \n• Two days of collaborative building and parade participation\n• Hands-on guidance from Denise and Audrey throughout the event\n• Access to a welcoming international community of balloon artists\n• Food and refreshments provided by the Limburg Pride organisation\n• Professional-quality content opportunities for your portfolio and marketing\n• An unforgettable Pride parade experience \nEvent Schedule: \nSaturday 11th July 2026 – The Big Build Day\nParticipants will spend the day inflating\, constructing and preparing wearable balloon designs alongside the DnA team near the Festival Village at the parade start location. \nSunday 12th July 2026 – Final Preparations & Parade\nComplete the finishing touches\, suit up and join the Limburg Pride parade as the team’s creations come to life on the streets of Hasselt. \nImportant Information: \n• Attendance is completely free of charge\n• Registration is mandatory to allow organisers to manage teams\, materials and balloon stock\n• Accommodation is not included and must be arranged independently if required\n• Participants may attend as builders\, parade participants or both \nSponsored by Sempertex Europe\, this exciting community build offers a rare opportunity to learn\, create and celebrate alongside some of the balloon industry’s most respected educators. \nWhether you’re looking to gain experience\, expand your network\, create incredible content or simply be part of something special\, Pride Build 2026 promises an unforgettable weekend of creativity\, collaboration and community.
