Develop practical Christmas balloon skills you can confidently recreate for your own customers at this hands-on Christmas Balloon Workshop, hosted by Angie George from Creative Craft Workshops at Datta’s Wholesale in Bromley.

Following the huge popularity of the Christmas Balloon Experience Day, this additional festive workshop offers a different learning experience, with more opportunity to work on individual designs and practise the construction techniques yourself.

Throughout the day, Angie will demonstrate a range of commercial Christmas balloon designs step by step. You’ll then get hands-on, working individually or in small groups to recreate the techniques and construct the designs yourself, with guidance and support along the way.

Rather than simply leaving with Christmas inspiration, the focus is on understanding how and why each design is constructed, giving you the practical knowledge and confidence to recreate, adapt and sell your own versions to customers.

And you won’t have to rely on remembering everything when you get home!

You’ll receive printed construction methods for the designs covered during the workshop, giving you a valuable reference to use when practising the techniques or adapting them for future Christmas orders.

This workshop is designed for balloon artists who already have a basic understanding of balloon décor and feel comfortable with fundamental balloon preparation and construction techniques.

You don’t need to be an advanced balloon artist or already know how to make the Christmas designs covered. However, as the workshop focuses on developing festive designs rather than teaching foundation balloon skills, it isn’t recommended for complete beginners.

If you’re completely new to balloon artistry, Creative Craft Workshops recommends completing foundation-level balloon training before attending workshops at this level.

This isn’t a repeat.

The two events have deliberately been designed to provide different learning experiences. The Christmas Experience Day focuses on collaborative working and helping to create larger festive displays alongside other balloon artists.

The Christmas Balloon Workshop shifts the focus to individual designs and techniques. You’ll watch Angie demonstrate each construction before getting the opportunity to practise it yourself.

Attend both and you’ll experience two different approaches to learning — collaborative large-scale decorating followed by more focused, hands-on skill development.
