Be part of a spectacular community build that celebrates creativity, inclusivity and the power of balloons to bring people together.

Hosted by internationally recognised Master Balloon Professionals Denise Van Dooren and Audrey Parsons, Pride Build 2026 is a unique opportunity to collaborate with balloon artists from across Europe while creating large-scale wearable balloon art for one of Belgium’s biggest Pride celebrations.

Following the success of last year’s parade participation, Denise and Audrey are returning with an even bigger vision. This year, DnA Events is leading a full-scale creative production, transforming the streets of Hasselt into a moving showcase of colour, artistry and self-expression.

Best of all, this is a completely free community project. Whether you’re an experienced balloon professional or attending your very first large-scale build, you’ll be welcomed as part of the team.

The Creative Vision:

This year’s project focuses on wearable balloon art and living sculptures. Participants will work together to create extraordinary balloon headpieces, structural skirts, statement costumes and interactive sculptures designed to move through the parade and captivate thousands of spectators.

More than décor, you’ll be helping to create living art in motion.

Event Schedule:

Saturday 11th July 2026 – The Big Build Day
Participants will spend the day inflating, constructing and preparing wearable balloon designs alongside the DnA team near the Festival Village at the parade start location.

Sunday 12th July 2026 – Final Preparations & Parade
Complete the finishing touches, suit up and join the Limburg Pride parade as the team’s creations come to life on the streets of Hasselt.

Important Information:

• Attendance is completely free of charge
• Registration is mandatory to allow organisers to manage teams, materials and balloon stock
• Accommodation is not included and must be arranged independently if required
• Participants may attend as builders, parade participants or both
